FRIDAY,
MAY 17, 2002 Greetings to all SRO fans. That's right, WE'RE BACK! On Friday, May 17, the entire SRO show will be returning to San Francisco's premier nightclub, Bimbo's 365 Club. We are very excited and hope to see all our loyal fans partying down. We also hope to see all the new fans we made when we gigged with the fabulous Superdiamond for three nights in February at Bimbo's. Our thanks to all the Superdiamond folks. We had a blast working with them. |

One of the reasons we have not been in public lately is due to our hectic road schedule. We have played some outrageous dates recently. Most notably, we played in the New Orleans Superdome, opening for Earth, Wind, and Fire, for the be-all, end-all Mardi Gras party. It was totally wild, everything you would expect from Mardi Gras. The Grand Marshall of the parade and party we played for was Jason Alexander of Seinfeld fame. He couldn't have been groovier and let all the fabulous women of SRO (and a few fabulous men) take pictures with him. Just a little show biz bonus for the band. Recently we played a corporate date in Las Vegas opening for Pat Benatar. The party was a hoot, and Pat sounded and looked great. More show biz bonuses for the band. |

As you longtime SRO fans know, I play the national anthem on my funky fiddle at Pacific Bell Park once a season for our San Francisco Giants. This year I will be fiddling away on Thursday, May 30. It's a day game against the world champion Arizona Diamondbacks, so come out and root, root, root for the home team. Don't forget, the garlic fries rock! |
