Calendar Updates

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21
BIMBO'S 365 CLUB
COLUMBUS AND CHESTNUT
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
(415) 474-0365

Greetings to all our SRO fans and friends. We hope you are having a swingin' summer and everyone is happy and healthy!

SRO finally makes its triumphant return to Bimbo's 365 Club, San Francisco's premier night spot. It's been a long, long time, and we truly appreciate the letters and e-mails from our fans who have waited all this time to see the band. Please come and party with your favorite party band, and please say hi to the new kids in the group. Interest is high since it has been a while since we have performed in public, so get your tickets early!

Whacky Road Date (part 1)

We recently performed at a fantastic affair in beautiful Vancouver B.C. Between dinner and SRO we were wildly entertained by none other than the legendary Barry Manilow. He looked great, sounded great, and performed all his hits including a medley of commercial jingles he had written many years ago. Did you know that he wrote "You Deserve A Break Today" (McDonald's)? If so, you need to go on Jeopardy or Ben Stein's Money.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame

On Friday, Sept. 14 I will be retuning to Pac Bell Park with my funky fiddle to perform the National Anthem at the Giants/Dodgers game. Please come out and root, root, root for the home team, and say hi if you see me in the Garlic Fries line around the third inning.

New Personnel/Fond Farewell

As I mentioned, we have had a few personnel changes. I am hoping you will all join us on our upcoming Fall Bimbo's date and meet and greet some new kids in the band. We have to say a fond farewell to our remarkable, retiring guitarist Tommy Dunbar. Tommy has been a fixture on the Bay Area music scene going back to the mid-seventies with his wonderful pop band the Rubinoos. Tommy is one of the original members of SRO, and everyone in the band agrees that you couldn't have a better band mate. We all wish Tommy the best.

That's it for now. Please keep visiting our site to find out about other upcoming performance dates. Again, the band and I can't thank you enough for all your support and continued interest in SRO. Take care, everyone.

Peace & Love,

"Maestro" Dick Bright, bandleader, SRO
