Calendar Updates

Monday, April 2 at Pac Bell Park, 12pm (noonish)

Sunday, June 3 at Piedmont Park, 1:00pm

Greetings to all SRO fans. It has been a while since we have spoken. My apologies to all our loyal fans who have been looking for America's favorite party band, SRO. We are alive and well and are very much looking forward to seeing our fans in 2001. Please note the above dates on your calendars. First, SRO has been honored by the San Francisco Giants who have asked us to perform on the field opening day at baseball's finest ball park, Pac Bell. We will be part of the spectacular pre-game festivities and are very excited about performing for 40,000 people. Next, on June 3 bring the entire family as SRO will be appearing at a free outdoor concert/dance at Piedmont Park in Piedmont, California (East Bay). Also, please check your local papers as SRO will be returning to our favorite stomping grounds, Bimbo's Nightclub, a little later this year. Ahhh, it's good to be back.

Where Have We Been

I am sure you wonderful fans have been wondering where we have been as we have not appeared in public for a while. In addition to a rigorous schedule of private functions, we have been going through some personnel changes. We now have some marvelous new folks in the band, and I certainly hope you will all come out to meet and support them in the near future.

This last New Year's Eve was an incredible experience for the band. We performed for the guests of the off-the -hook Atlantis Casino and Resort in the Bahamas. At midnight on stage with the band were Tiger Woods (we also didn't recognize him with his "Dennis Rodman" do) and all-star shortstop Alex Rodriguez. What a high for the band. I had the good fortune of meeting A. Rod in the hotel later and gave him a few pointers, like don't try too hard against our Oakland A's!

Star Spotting

On The Road Again

As always SRO will be zipping across the country this year bringing the party to the rest of the country. Here are just a few of our upcoming locales: St. Thomas, Albequerque, Puerto Rico, Nashville, Vancouver, Bermuda. America, be afraid, be very afraid.

Overdue Thanks

Again, our sincerest thanks for staying in touch with the band whether it be checking our website or e-mailing us (sro@dickbrightssro.com). Although we have not been in the public eye for a while, we are definitely back and badder (that means good) than ever. Hope to see you all soon in 2001.

All Our Best,

"Maestro" Dick Bright, bandleader, SRO
