Calendar Updates

Greetings, SRO fans. Happy holidays to you all. As we head into the holiday season we certainly wish everyone a Happy Turkey Day, a Merry Christmas, a Chappy Chanukah, and Happy Kwanza (spelling?). May your shopping be stress-free.

'Tis the season to be working for SRO--lots of holiday parties, etc. Due to our hectic work schedule we will not be appearing in public until early next year. We thank you for your patience, and, of course, we will let you know when we have a specific date.

Groovy New Year's

Once again the band gets to travel to a cool location Dec. 31, 2000. We will be bringing in the new year in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Casino and Resort. SRO was fortunate enough to perform there two years ago and have been asked back for a return performance. It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it, and, no, we don't need any extra roadies!

New Kids in the Band

In case you hadn't heard, SRO dancer Coco retired recently. She will be sorely missed by our fans and by fellow band members and all wish her well in her new exploits. The same goes for dancer Stephanie Klann who moved to Los Angeles to further her dancing career. She, too, will be missed. Fortunately for us we have found two new marvelous members--Chrissy and Lucy. Their skill and energy is tremendous, and they are both wonderful additions to the band. Be sure to check them out next year when we return to public dates.

Good Cause

Recently I was appointed to the board of directors of a fantastic organization called MUST (Music In Schools Today). These folks do all they can to help music programs and young musicians in our public schools in Northern California. Since many music programs have been eliminated in our public schools due to budget cuts young musicians need all the help they can get. SRO salutes MUST. If you are interested in getting involved please call the office at (415) 392-9010 for further information.

Once again, on behalf of the entire band, we wish all our fans the happiest of holidays and look forward to performing for you in 2001
