Calendar Updates

Greetings to all SRO fans! We hope everyone is having a fantastic summer, and we hope to see your smiling faces as well.

Friday, July 14
Bimbo's 365 Club
San Francisco
(415) 474-0365

Come join SRO for this very special evening at this very special club. Believe it or not, July 14 is my actual birthday, so please come party at my SRO birthday bash. Yes, I'm finally turning twenty-one and will be having my first cocktail ever. Be afraid, be very afraid!

Sunday, August 13
(1:30pm-3:00pm)
The Grove @ Newpark Mall

This show is part of a summer series put on by the city of Newark. We did it a couple of years ago, and it was a blast. It's kids, hot dogs, ice cream, and SRO. Mom and Dad, don't worry, it's our G rated show.

Ahoy, Mates

In early May SRO performed on a cruise ship for the first time in our illustrious career, and it was fantastic! We went from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to the Bahamas for the Holland America Line. It was like a five-star hotel on the water, and the crew and passengers couldn't have been nicer. No, we did not have to learn the theme from "The Loveboat". Yes, we did have to perform "Rock The Boat" by the Hues Corporation.

SRO Trivia Fact #1,257

SRO has never performed a song by the band Bread.

Whacky Gig

SRO guitarist Tommy Dunbar is a multi-talented musician. Besides playing guitar, Tommy writes, arranges, sings, etc. He has just returned from Amsterdam where he performed vocals with Rubinoo partner Jon Rubin singing Frank Zappa's "200 Motels", accompanied by a full symphony orchestra. Try to top that gig!

As always, the entire SRO gang thanks all of you fans for your continuing support. We hope to see you this summer either at Bimbo's (my birthday bash) or at Newpark Mall (or both!). Also, keep that e-mail coming at:
sro@dickbrightssro.com.

We love to hear from you.

Peace, love,

"Maestro" Dick Bright
